A. R. Gurney's LOVE LETTERS

A BENEFIT PERFORMANCE
co-sponsored by VICEROY Palm Springs

October 20, 2012 @ 7:30 PM
Tickets: $50 (includes fabulous dessert reception)

Join Dezart Performs as we present A.R. Gurney's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, "Love Letters," in a benefit performance at the Palm Springs Woman's Club, 314 S Cahuilla Road, downtown Palm Springs.

The production stars Donna Pescow of "Saturday Night Fever" fame and Robert Hays of "Airplane!" The actors' also starred as the fairytale couple Angie Falco and Brad Benson on the popular television sitcom, "Angie," which garnered Pescow a Golden Globe nomination for "Best Actress in a Comedy Series." This benefit performance reunites the two, as well as "Angie" writer and story editor Lenny Ripps, who will direct "Love Letters."

"Love Letters" is the intimate correspondence between Melissa and Andrew, star-crossed lovers who have saved 50 years of letters they've written to each other. Their notes and letters become a source of inspiration, comfort, love, and at times, heartache, in this bittersweet romantic comedy.

A champagne and dessert reception, catered by Palm Springs' very own TRIO Restaurant, follows the performance. The evening's proceeds benefit Dezart Performs and its 2012-13 Season. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased on this page to the left, or by calling 760-322-0179.
